Panasonic Lumix GF3

43rumors has received information of an upcoming Panasonic Lumix GF7. The Lumix GF series has been one of the most popular mirrorless camera systems in the market because it was one of the first cameras of this type. Not much else has been said about this rumored camera.

Panasonic has been releasing these cameras very close to each other. the GF3 was just released when the GF 2 hadn’t been out for  a year yet.

Sensor Size Chart

NikonRumors has reported that based on the leaked images of the Nikon Mirrorless Camera Mount, it will probably have a 2.6x crop factor. The sensor will be larger than most compact cameras, but still be smaller than micro 4/3 camera, which have a 2x crop factor.

Nikon Mirroless Camera Mount

Thom Hogan has said that the rumored Nikon Mirrorless camera will come out this september. Thom Hogan usually has good sources for his information, so this rumor has a good chance of being correct.

Sony Alpha A77

Sony’s upcoming releases are supposedly going to support the new AVCHD 2.0 standards, which means they will be able to shoot at full HD 1080P in 24/30/60 FPS at 28Mbit/s. The BIONZ processor in them is going to be built for video, and so there will not be the “jello” effect one gets when moving the camera really fast. This news goes hand in hand with the previous rumor of the Sony Alpha 16-50 f/2.8 Lens being built to be optimized for video use. The new cameras to have these features are:

A77
NEX-7
